Stefano

Born in Pescara (Italy) in 1983, Stefano Coppari graduated in jazz guitar and direction/arranging for jazz orchestra at G.Rossini Conservatory of Music in Pesaro.

During his journey he has studied with musicians like Wynton Marsalis, Jim Hall, Franco Cerri, Fabio Zeppetella, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Peter Bernstein, Mark Turner, Lionel Loueke, Nir Felder, Pietro Leveratto, Avishai Cohen, Ramberto Ciammarughi, Bruno Tommaso ecc..

 

 

During this years he has worked with Enrico Ruggieri, Paolo Belli, PFM, Carl Palmer, Franco Cerri, Ares Tavolazzi, Massimo Manzi, Claudio Filippini, Massimo Morganti, Fabio Zeppetella, Jhelisa Anderson, John B. Arnold, Alberto Gurrisi, Gianni Giudici and many others. In 2012 he published with Raitrade music label, the album Stefano Coppari/Antonangelo Giudice Quartet “Escape”.
Through these collaborations, he played in some of the most important Italian jazz festivals like “Territori Sonori 2010 – 2011 – 2012”, “Jazz alla Mole Ancona”, “Zapjuice”, “Nottalia Jesi”, “Casa del Jazz Roma , la Biennale “Tuttoingioco Civitanova”, “Fiastra Jazz 2011” “Divino Jazz 2010 e 2011”, “JazzUp Viterbo 2011” ,“Escapes-Evasioni Sonore”, “Isola d’Elba Mediterraneo Festival”,“Corinaldo Jazz 2012” “PiorAcustic 2012 Pioraco”, “Jesi Jazz Festival 2013 e 2014”, “JazzIt Festival Collescipoli 2014”, “Festival Jazz vivailjazz San Severino Marche 2014” etc.
Now he is engaged also as Opus 1 music school’s director and as the co-founder of Marche Music College, a music network that works throughout the Italian Marche region with the intention and objective of organizing workshop, concerts, festivals, productions…
